  John’s professional path to handcrafted artistry began in 1986, when he launched his career as a framing carpenter in Orange County, California. Here, he meticulously honed his skill set on many high-profile homes, including two honored by Builder Magazine as “Home of the Year.” 

John found his niche and quickly established an elite reputation within the industry.

Working within this realm exposed John to the highest levels of craftsmanship. Stonemasons who painstakingly hand-mix mortar to highlight texture and grain. In 1998, John channeled his passion and expertise into building custom homes, bringing his coterie of craftsmen into his own personal projects. These same principles and relationships have become the gold standard
